The Roadmap
Two locked dates, a schedule behind them — and the rumor mill is boiling. Status lights: honest, not official.
Trailer and poster arrived at D23 2026: eight episodes from October 14, Paul Bettany as White Vision, James Spader as Ultron — both in human form for the first time, inside a mindscape. It closes the trilogy begun by WandaVision and Agatha All Along and is the last series before Doomsday.

Already shot: Matt against Mayor Fisk's New York, this time with Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones. The street-level corner remains Marvel's most reliable construction site.
→ Daredevil: Born Again in the archive
Sony's live-action series: Cage plays the noir Spidey he voiced in the Spider-Verse — black-and-white 1930s New York included. Curious detail: it runs on Amazon, not Disney.
→ Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in the archive
Jon Bernthal gets his own Special Presentation — harder than Disney+ has ever been. A direct offshoot of Born Again.
→ The Punisher (Netflix) in the archive
The anthology about Wakandan warriors through the centuries continues — feeding the Black Panther mythology ahead of part 3.

After What If…?, the animation branch keeps rolling: Marvel Zombies (TV-MA), Spider-Man series, X-Men '97 season 2. Animation has become Marvel's most reliable quality supplier.
→ X-Men '97 in the archive
A year lies between Doomsday and Secret Wars — Marvel will fill it with targeted series feeding the finale. Rumor-mill candidates: a Loki/TVA follow-up and Young Avengers build-up.
→ Avengers: Doomsday in the archive
Not officially dated yet, but nobody doubts it: Holland's fourth solo film is the most successful Marvel opening of 2026 and Cretton stays aboard. The only real question is how Doomsday/Secret Wars interferes.
→ Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the archive
Made official at D23 2026: theatrical release May 5, 2028 as the opener of Phase 7, logo revealed, directed by Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts*). The cast: Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm — and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister. More casting announcements are promised.
→ X-Men in the archive
After the 2026 Comic-Con bombshell, the Spirit of Vengeance with Ryan Gosling now has a date in the database: July 28, 2028. First his Doomsday appearance, then the solo film — the route Marvel last took with Black Panther.
→ Avengers: Doomsday in the archive
Dated December 14, 2028 in the database, with Coogler expected back. The most exciting question after the SDCC reveal of the new Black Panther (David Jonsson) in Doomsday: whose story does part 3 tell — Shuri's, Toussaint's or his?
→ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in the archive
The conclusion of the Miles trilogy has been in limbo since the Across cliffhanger: repeatedly delayed, currently without a firm date, but definitely in the works. Sony promises the wait will be worth it.
→ Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in the archive
Mahershala Ali has been waiting six years: five writers, two directors, several calendar dates — all lapsed. Marvel's most famous ghost project is internally considered 'after Secret Wars'.
→ Blade in the archive
First a series, then promoted to a film (Don Cheadle as Rhodey, Stark's tech in the wrong hands) — radio silence since the promotion. After Secret Invasion and Ross's fall, the material would actually be riper than ever.
→ Secret Invasion in the archive
In the works with writer Sabir Pirzada since 2022, floated as a film, then a special. Xandar's destruction has awaited its consequence since Infinity War — Richard Rider remains the great absentee of the cosmic corner.
→ Guardians of the Galaxy in the archive
After the success of First Steps and the family's central Doomsday role, a second solo film is considered locked — presumably only in the post-Secret-Wars order.
→ The Fantastic Four: First Steps in the archive
The Hollywood satire with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II earned good reviews with modest viewership. A continuation is possible but unconfirmed — Ben Kingsley's Trevor would surely have time.
→ Wonder Man in the archive
Never officially announced — but Kamala has been visibly recruiting since 2026, and with Kate, Cassie, America and Wiccan the bench is complete. The most obvious project that officially does not exist.
→ The Marvels in the archive
Clea's cliffhanger has been waiting since 2022, Cumberbatch regularly mentions talks — nothing has happened. Likely reason: Strange is so central to Doomsday/Secret Wars that a solo film had no room before them.
→ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the archive
Cretton wanted to, but was pulled onto Kang Dynasty and then Spider-Man. Simu Liu is in the Doomsday cast — the rings signal will likely be resolved there instead of in a solo.
→ Shang-Chi in the archive
Sony producer Amy Pascal regularly confirms: he is coming — but only once the Spider-Verse trilogy is complete. Casting rumors are accordingly a permanent fixture.
→ Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in the archive
The symbiote on the counter (NWH) and Knull's awakening (Venom 3) are two loaded guns without a shooter. Since the SSU shutdown the threads effectively belong to Marvel — nobody has cashed them in.
→ Venom: The Last Dance in the archive
Elizabeth Olsen has said for years she wants to return — Wanda's 'death' under the mountain stayed demonstratively vague, Billy lives as Wiccan. The multiverse knows a thousand roads; none is officially confirmed.
→ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the archive
Officially not cast, believed by no one: his Wolverine survived D&W as his world's anchor being. A saga finale about dying universes without him would be narrative waste.
