The story
Six remnants of creation, each an aspect of existence. Thanos needed them for the Snap, the Avengers for the Blip — then Thanos destroyed them in the past, and the borrowed duplicates were returned. The TVA, by the way, keeps whole drawers full of them. As paperweights.
